Anna Dumont

Anna Dumont works on late 19th to mid-20th century modernism, with a focus on feminist historiography. She received her BA in Religion from the University of Rochester in 2015 after several years in the labor movement. Current research interests include the intersection of modernist art the decorative, art production in the context of galleries, and issues of biography, the body, and self-representation in work by female artists, and her work spans media from architecture to dance. She is currently a Mellon Cluster Fellow in Gender and Sexuality Studies.
