Margaret McLaughlin

Margaret McLaughlin studies ancient Mediterranean art and archaeology. Her research interests include cross-cultural interactions between the Mediterranean and the Near East, ethnicity and identity, animal studies, and ancient cultural reception of their predecessors. She received her BA in Art History and Classical Humanities with a certificate in European Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, during which she participated in field work throughout Wisconsin and at Stobi, Macedonia. She is currently a Mellon Cluster Fellow in Classical Receptions.
